ACCESS TO CHAMBERS
DAN offers training, safety assessments, and funding to help keep chambers staffed, safe, and available for divers.
Since its founding in 1980, DAN has provided real-time emergency assistance in tens of thousands of diving emergencies. Through this experience, the organization has identified the most effective ways to help divers.
“From the dive site to the ambulance to the emergency room to the recompression chamber, there are many opportunities to enhance the care injured divers get,” said DAN president and CEO Bill Ziefle. “DAN recognizes this, and we work to improve outcomes at each of these touchpoints.”
Consider a donation to DAN this season to promote care for injured divers and keep chamber facilities accessible to all. Donors who contribute US$100 or more between November 1, 2021, and January 31, 2022, will receive a limited-edition “Helping Divers Since 1980” T-shirt.
With your support, DAN will continue championing diver safety and ensuring the global dive community has the resources it needs to prevent and respond to dive accidents.
