WDHOF Member to speak at the Explorers Club

The Explorers Club, GB & Ireland Chapter has confirmed that underwater photographer Ellen Cuylaerts will be speaking at their event on 31 March 2022, in London.

The WDHOF member will be joined by the filmmaker and director, Tom Martienssen and artist Ross Day for the first event in the GB&I Chapter's '2022 Storytelling Series'.

An evening profiling global speakers specialising in exploration from the photography and filmmaking industry. Mark Wood, explorer

During the course of the evening, the 'Exploration Exposed' audience (in partnership with Cabal Aged Rum) will hear about photography, filming and historic artwork, and how it relates to different disciplines of exploration.

Ellen Cuylaerts

Ellen Cuylaerts is an international, award-winning underwater photographer. In 2019 it was announced that she would be inducted into the Women Divers Hall of Fame.

In June 2017, Ellen addressed heads of state on World Oceans Day at the General Assembly of the United Nations, highlighting the plight of photographers and filmmakers engaging in protection of the oceans. She enjoys cold diving in arctic conditions and the darkness and silence of cave diving.

Tickets, Date and Location

'Exploration Exposed' will be held on Thursday 31 March 2022, at the Frontline Club, 13 Norfolk Place, London, W2 1QJ. There will be a welcome 'Cabal' cocktail and and canapes upon arrival, and a paid bar throughout the evening

Tickets are £20 - £30. The evening commences at 18.00 and will run to 23.00 GMT.
